Dell Extends XP Availability Beyond June 30th
By: Jayesh Mansukhani   |   Apr 29,2008
Windows XP is one OS that just refuses to die. The latest company to jump onto the “keep XP alive” bandwagon has been none other than Dell. The company via the Windows Vista downgrade option will allow customers to have XP Professional as a downgrade option on select Latitude, OptiPlex and Precision computers at no extra cost. They will also bundle the purchased Windows Vista edition as a separate installation disk for whenever the user wishes to eventually perform the necessary OS upgrade.

This will allow Dell to offer XP as an optional OS installation, on their machines well beyond the 30th June expiry date, which has been set by Microsoft.
