By: Jayesh Mansukhani   |   May 07,2007
For its upcoming monthly security rollout due on 8th May 2007 or more popularly known as Patch Tuesday, Microsoft plans to release seven critical security related patches and seven non-critical application related patches. Among the critical patches being released, two directly affect Windows OS including the infamous DNS bug, 3 are related to Microsoft Office and one each for Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft CAPICOM and Biztalk.

In the non-crucial patches though there are 7 patches expected to be released, Microsoft has not released details on the vulnerabilities and problems being fixed. This is being done to prevent them from being exploited. For further details check out this report.
