It's sad but true, your old Xbox is now as good as a paperweight, well almost. Exaggerations aside, 2006 was the last year, you could expect any new game releases on it; from now on it's 360 games all the way. According to Bill Harris (Dubious Quality), “45 Xbox 360 games are scheduled for release before the end of the year, but only 31 Xbox titles. Almost half of that 31 will be shipping by the end of June. After that, the 360 titles are listed in a 2-1 ratio for the end of the year. In other words, in about two months, the transition from Xbox to Xbox 360 is essentially over.” There are no titles slated for the Xbox in the year 2007, and one can only hope Microsoft improve backward compatibility on the 360 so all your hard earned moolah on Xbox games don't go down the shitter.
