Epic's GOW Patch Messes up SD Visuals
By: Nikhil Singh   |   Jan 10, 2007
The latest patch that was recently released by Epic Games for Gears of War is causing problems for standard definition gamers.

According to this Gears of War forum post, gamers are facing issues when they use their VGA cable for 1280x1024 resolution output. Doing this makes in-game characters seem skewed and distorted. Even the texture quality seems to be totally messed up, along with the picture quality. I can only imagine how frustrating this must be for those who are addicted to the game. Lets hope that Epic and Microsoft fix this issue quick, so that these gamers can get back to the game's bad-ass multiplayer action.
