Amongst the happy and frolicking Xbox 360 users who loved the various features yesterday’s Xbox 360 update packed, there were a few whose consoles stopped working. Initially it was believed that this only happened to those who had modded their 360s, but this myth was broken by Microsoft itself through this statement:
"A small percentage of consoles were affected negatively by the fall update (less than one percent have reported issues). We're working with those affected to get them back up and running, whether that be by providing another console or fixing their existing console. We're committed to resolving this issue."
Microsoft hopes to solve the issue within 12 to 24 hours and get their consoles running as soon as possible.
