Half-Life 2: Episode Two
Half-Life 2: Episode Two picks up where Episode One left off – after the destruction of the Citadel a super-portal was created that could be exploited easily to dish in reinforcements for the Combine. You, Gordon Freeman, along with Alyx and the rest of Earth’s scientists have to decipher the transmission you stole from the Citadel, to find out more about the purpose of the Citadel and the Combine’s plans so that you can put a stop to them.
According to Valve, each episode will introduce a new base play style to the mix; for instance, in Half-Life 2 you were pretty much a one-man-show, while in Episode One, the gameplay required you to work ‘closely’ with Alyx (not close in THAT way) to get through. Apart from this, a few new forces at work will reveal themselves and make their presence felt! I wonder what that means, but I for one am surely eager to find out.
