With technology being the way it is today, is it any wonder that we'd even want to have our memories degitized? In a way I guess it's 'environmental friendly' to have less paper around. So enter the digital Photo Frame. A way to save your memories. And not just your images but your videos too. The days of handing over a reel to a studio and having to buy bulky photo albums are gone. With this one device you'll have access to all your images, hundreds if possible.
Design
What can I say; it’s a photo frame. There really isn’t a grand difference in design than any other photo frame you’d have at home. Of course, it does need to be hooked up to a DC outlet and you can see your pictures that you would have taken from your digital cameras or mobile phones on it. It is quite stylish though with a transparent border surrounding the white frame. It has a high quality 7-inch TFT matrix display.
The Wespro DPF (digital photo frame) is quite feature packed with slots for memory cards on one side. It can read from SD, MMC, MS, XD and CF cards but again no internal memory. The frame has a DC adapter socket on the same side, sadly, with no provision for batteries. This is a real bummer as with this frame too, you’re restricted to placing this device only in a place that has an electric outlet close by. It also has an AV out so you can hook it up to your TV and a USB socket for PC connectivity for transfer of data to and from the memory cards.
The rear of the DPF has 2 inbuilt speakers on the top and just below are a bunch of buttons that can be used for navigating the menus, selecting options and various other tasks. Just near the screw-on stand is the power switch. Although, the stand doesn’t really seem to go with the frame too well but hey – it holds it up.
