XFX nForce 680i LT SLI

Excellent Stock and Overclocked Performance
Good Board Layout
Retains almost all the top features of the flagship board 680i.

Sound is provided by Realtek's ALC885 HD Codec as in the 680i though the 680i LT has only a single Gigabit LAN port as opposed to two on the 680i, also stripping it of its DualNET technology.

The bios on the 680i LT is almost similar to that of the 680i minus a few enhancements. Nvidia still uses the AwardBIOS that it uses on the other 6 series board. The FSB and the memory configuration is very similar to that of the 680i. As in the 680i the 680i LT still supports asynchronous memory clocking. The differences in the boards mostly lie in the voltage options. The CPU core voltage cuts out at 1.6 volts for the LT as compared to 1.8 volts for the 680i. The CPU FSB voltage cuts out at 1.4 volts as compared to 1.5 volts for the 680i. The memory voltage tops at 2.5 volts for both the boards which is good enough for the memory available. Finally, the nForce SPP voltage setting that used to up to 1.55 volts for the 680i is down to 1.4 volts.

Was looking at this for my sli solution ... @ "aim for the vomer- Guessing u are a med student "- Any issues as regard to graphics and stability , as all 6 series and even the new 7 series chips from nvidia seem to have quite a few problems ... I would go with intel p-35 .. x-38 solution but for the fact that sli is not possible with them ... Anyone have any idea of the street price in chennai for one of these boards ATM... (28/4/2008) ... Will apreciate any responses .....

(its got aluminum capped solid capacitors raven) i have this board with the q6600 g0 stepping. stock speed 2.4ghz but they commonly hit 4ghz with a dab of h2o. ive oc'd mine to 3ghz no problem but the quads run EXTREMELY hot so i backed down till i get h2o. this board is great i got it for $100 from td. only thing that i kinda wish they hadn't pulled out is the diagnostic speaker. kinda retarded but oh well. if your putting two large gpus in there like the 8800 then the bottom pci slot will be blocked and the top won't fit anything of much use and will block airflow to the top gpu. anyone wanting to know how to oc its a bit more than anyones willing to explain here so just go to google and find the answers yourself. i promise its not hard. theres entire forums dedicated to ocing

Won't like to mess up with this feed, but 'd say for sure persons like 24 (Who commented on a question of Jatinpreet, is reallt a manners-less base animal, if he did not want to answer then that's it, why to mock at others, if admin. consider the question ridiculous then they'll mitigate it, you are a bad person.

Asus performed a little bit above XFX in 680i comparison.But XFX is cheaper...Hmmm..what should i do?
@Jatinpreet
No it doesn't come with integrated graphics but you can stick two 8800's and watch Alan Wake kick some a$$.

Are you retarded? this is a ENTHUSIAST targeted board, almost every high end board since early 2006 has chucked off Onboard graphics. try googling before asking a ridiculously stupid question like that.

Hi, Does this motherboard come with a Nvidia graphics card onboard?
