Multimedia in the P310 is a normal set of tools with an MP3/AAC audio player, MPEG4 video player and a TV output feature to watch all of that on a big screen.
Quality of sound was good, although not too loud, with the provided earphones/headsets. The absence of a standard 3.5mm jack means you can’t use your own earphones with the phone.
The built-in ringtones are quite loud, which is a good thing, because when it’s stored in the leather jacket, the speaker area gets covered up and the only place the sound can get out from, are the sides. One issue with this phone (that’s also present in a few other Samsung phones) is that you can’t set an MP3 from the memory card as a ringtone. You need to copy the file into the phone memory to do so. But fortunately, like most Samsung phones, the P310 has around 80mb of internal memory, so there’s enough space for several MP3s that you can use as ringtones. Speaking of the memory, the phone takes in microSD cards.
