There are cheaper and higher capacity options if you want just portable storage, like laptop hard drives.

From USB sticks to MP3 players to memory cards there’s flash memory everywhere. I still remember about 5 years ago, Buffalo had launched its 1GB pen drive in Japan for an Indian equivalent of Rs. 11,000. Now you get the same for 400 rupees! Such is the level of adoption and demand which has risen exponentially over past few years.

We have with us Corsair’s 16 GB pen drive. Corsair falls in to the top tier of memory manufacturers along with being one of the few manufacturers that offer enthusiast level system memory for desktops. 16GB of space on the Corsair drive is the highest available capacity for pen drives. Well this is a welcome gadget from corsair.. Been a fan of corsair's memory gadgets ever since i got my first XMSII Xtreme Ram..
@Tanmay : Well if u've used corsair products and knw abt their quality u wouldn't complain abt their price.. They're not like Transcend ones..
@Paramveer : Isn't there a difference between a 3.5" or for that matter 2.5" hdd and a tiny little usb drive in terms of ease of use, portability n comfort???

well one can afford to buy a laptop hard disk at this price, well these are highly suitable for gizmo geeks

i think that it should be priced at Rs4000/-that would be the ideal price at this moment.

its a googd gadget but at that priceone can buy a 160gb hdd including a casing. its much more practical then buying this pen drive.the hdd can also be made portable.
