Design and Features
The Mini Fun catches everyone’s attention—not only because its so tiny but because it looks nothing like a pen drive! Its almost half the size of a normal pen drive and is easily mistaken for a Lego piece. It comes in different colors for different sizes.
The one we are reviewing here is the yellow color 1GB model. The cap once removed can be fitted at the back of the drive. However we noticed that the retractable-type USB connector (in Sandisk Cruzer pen drives) completely eliminates the need for a cap, even though it adds a few millimeters to the size of the drive. But with the Kingston 's Mini Fun, the peppy color scheme and funky shape surely attracts a lot of attention.
Size Comparison: Mini vs. Transcend JetFlash
To add to the value of the drive, pen drive manufacturers bundle them with software, but Kingston seems to have missed the bus with the Mini Fun.
