Overall, the Asus PW201 is a mixed bag. It’s image display and colour quality are among the best we have ever seen or tested. It offers a huge amount of connectivity options with a webcam and speakers truly making it a jack of all trades. However the negative points add up quickly. The cost of the monitor is simply too much. At Rs. 38,000 this monitor is grossly overpriced. Its price point actually places it directly in competition with the Dell 2407FWP a 24-inch monitor, which is a far superior product. The camera software needs a lot of work and the speakers are best avoided. If you can live with these negatives and intend to ignore the webcam and speakers, you will not find better image and picture quality anywhere else.

The product is good but i can't understand which market it caters to? The speakers i'm guessing are intended only for functional purpose and not for listening to music or games. On the other hand, the screen seems to be very good for gaming and videos.

they should have worked on the webcam problem. Buggy software and poor add-ons like bad speakers and webcam will put people off and distract attention from the main goal i.E. Good display. And for their pricing, i don't know how they would compete with the dell widescreens.

if dell did not retail only through their crappy online ordering service, it would have dominated the indian market. Dell needs to reailze that not everyone is comfortable ordering online with that kind of cash and needs to reach out to distributors also

38k is atrocious pricing. You can get a great view sonic 20" lcd doing 1680 x 1050 at 5ms for 18k. And who needs these crapy speakers and webcam anyway. Purely flaunt value stuff.
