Monitor: Dell SP2208WFP
In a 22-inch market dominated by a rash of releases from Viewsonic, LG, BenQ and Sony, the clear leader in terms of sheer quality and number of features is, unsurprisingly, Dell. The PC major has not only dominated this space for a long time, but continues to offer products that are excellent value for money.
The SP2208WFP is the Rolls-Royce of 22-inch monitors. It has a native resolution of 1680x1050 pixels, offers dual DVI-D, HDMI, VGA and four USB 2.0 ports. It has a brightness of 300 cd/m2, a response time of 2ms, and a DCR (dynamic contrast ratio) of 2000:1. It is highly recommended for anyone looking for HD connectivity but cannot afford the far more expensive 24 inchers.
Very few gaming mice have achieved the popularity of the Logitech MX518. A perennial favorite with CS players for its 1600 DPI tracking and elegant design, it’s now available for Rs 1250. Our keyboard is a standard Logitech 101-key affair, which is good enough for both gaming and general work.
