At the end of this long list we now have a mid-level gaming machine with a very powerful CPU,1 GB of quality ram, an excellent graphic card that can play games like F.E.A.R easily, a great 17-inch screen, a quality 2.1 speaker system with a powerful sub-woofer. For input devices we have used well made Microsoft keyboard and mice and storage is taken care by a top-of-the-line DVD Writer and a fast HDD with lots of storage space. All of this under Rs. 50,000 makes for a kickass deal.

hey avnish u are a noob .just shut up & listen.E6300 can overpass the performance of FX 62(not over clocked) and gain up to 7x multiplier 3.5+ghz.
So you can concentrate on buying better cooling, case, mobo. It can beat core2duo extreme not (over clocked).get an overclocked gecube x1600 pro and 1gb then blaze on with speed of light!

Why the 1.8 on npithub.Com, u can get 2.8ers for 6k.
for 5k more, you can get a 16:10 lcd 19" from viewsonic

Why not the intel core 2 duo t7200? It has double the cache and a decent price too?

Great article. Imho , everything is great except the motherboard. I don't really like the idea of a m-atx board for a gaming pc. I think the abit ni8 sli is a much better board and is now finally available with a few dealers in bombay. Its not much more than the asus board.

Good info as well as prices to compare

Too cool an idea .... I recomend ...Instead of the samsung monitor .... One can look at a 32 inch samsung lcd .... Serves a purpose of the tv .... Pc serves the purpose to log on the net and also ... Play games .... Also a dvd player to watch the movies ... Internet can be through ... The cable .....No need for a seperate computer table or occupy space ...... What say !!!

Excellent combination of processor and memory with sound .Options for or improvement of the onboard graphics could have made an excellent choice for upgrading my present pentium 4 ht 1.24 gb ddr ram with 256 nvedia geforce graphics on a 915 intel mtb 17 " lcd monitor costing me rs.58,600/- a few months back

An excellent combination for a gaming pc. But instead of using twinmos memory you could have used simmtronics memory, which is about 1000 bucks lesser than the price of the twinmos and gives the same performance.

I agree with deepsat, i mean as the gaming progresses i suppose that the demand for intence graphics will increase so go for the latest nvidia.
if possible please compare gaming pc with ps3 and the future?

Thats the best artical i hav ever read. But i only wish i would have read it before making my pc. My only 6 mounth old pc sucks. I have 2 build a new 1 like tech 2 suggested
anurag, kolkata @ Oct 31, 2006
A question.. The sound card is onboard 7.1 , will it has a output socket for 7.1 ? Suggest a 7.1 speaker system for this mother board. All the others are just fine for a gamer and multimedia.
Murlidharan,Chennai @ Oct 31, 2006
Good article ! But what about people who want to just replace their cpu's like me. I want to replace just my motherboard, processor and ram and core2duo has a heavy price tag ? Any amd variants u suggest?
varun,chennai @ Oct 31, 2006
Good suggestion. However, for any gaming pc, the graphics card is the essence. Not sure on how much fps the mentioned card can support! And with games like crysis on the horizon, its better to go with a card of the future!
