Aigo A020 and F566 iSonic
Aigo’s A020 player may not be a very good choice in this category as it does have something of a face, as watches go. Yup, this player can also double as an analog wrist watch... or maybe it's a wrist watch that can double as an MP3 player? I can’t make up my mind. This superb watch-player comes equipped with EQ presets and a voice recorder and all you have to do is carry it on your arm. Quite literally. The USB connector neatly fits into the strap for storage.
Aigo has a pair of sunglasses with an MP3 player built right in. It has a USB port for PC connectivity and charging. The problem is the earphones have no place to go (other than your ears) when you’re not listening to music, so they end up dangling from your face like dreadlocks. The aigo iSonic Glares may not face a face, so to speak, but they do fit on one.
Zen Stone and iPod Shuffle
I know many readers may get a bit cheesed off by the inclusion of these two players in most MP3 player lists, but what can I say, they seem to conveniently fit into so many. The Creative Zen Stone fits perfectly due to the lack of a display and it’s simple design. It has no extra features, but you can skip folders as well as tracks. This is also a small and light enough player to hang around your neck. There are quite a few color options to choose from.
I don’t think there’s a single list of MP3 players or PMPs that doesn’t include an Apple iPod. The Shuffle of course has no face at all. It’s an extremely simplistic player that’s designed well enough to be worn in different ways. It’s especially easy to wear with the clip. The only feature it has is the Shuffle or Normal play feature.
In case you come across any other player that qualifies to be in this roundup, go into our forums and let me know, or just leave a comment below. Make sure to mention the names, and I’ll try my best to get hold of them and test them for you.
