Games That Were Worth The Wait

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was scheduled for a 2003 release, but the release date got pushed until early 2007. The game was supposed to be called S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Oblivion Lost, but it’s named was changed to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, along with a lot of the ambitious features it was supposed to have. I expected the game to be pretty outdated technology and mechanics-wise, so I wasn’t too excited when I got the game. I was so wrong. Once I actually played it I realized my folly along with the fact that it was one of the best FPSes out there. Check out our review http://www.tech2.com/india/reviews/pc-games/s.t.a.l.k.e.r.-shadow-of-chernobyl/5243/0 for the game to find out what made it own faces so hard.
