Black Arachnia - The Broodmother
Primary Attribute: Agility
Primary Role: Hero Killer/ Lane Pusher
Introduction:
This is one spider you can’t squish easily – the Broodmother has the ability to push lanes as well as destroy enemy heroes, using stealth as well her agile attacks in ways that will bedazzle even her most stalwart foes.
The Good:
Stealth ability from level 1 onwards
Good all-round stat growth
Good hero chaser
Good Farmer
The Bad:
Fragile if caught off guard
Weak against nukers
Stunner own her
Vulnerable to AoE attacks early on
Spawn Spiderlings (Mana Cost - 75/ 90/ 105/ 120/ Cooldown – 12 Sec.)
Description: The Broodmother injects her young into a target, creating immense pain. If the target is killed by the injection, spiderlings will be born. The damage done increases from 75 to 300 and the spiderlings spawned increase from 1 to 4.
This skill works decently when there are no AoE damage dealers in the enemy team. However that isn’t usually the case, so I suggest that you keep this skill for later, when Arachnia becomes a hardcore pusher.
Spin Web (Mana Cost - 90/ 75/ 60/ 45/ Cooldown – 140 Sec.)
Description: Spins a web which grants the Broodmother invisibility in an area, 20% speed bonus, increased HP regen, and true sight. The number of webs allowed increases from 2 to 8 at level 4 along with HP regeneration bonus. The web cooldown reduces from 90 to 45 seconds from level 1 to 4.
The web grants you invisibility, making it an important skill to pick up early on. The HP regeneration boost is also awesome, making sure that you’ll always be topped up in battle. Space them out properly though, since you can’t place more than 8 at once (at level 4) of this spell. One thing you should remember is that even after exiting the web, you gain 4 seconds of invisibility which you can use to get outta sticky situations or gank heroes.
Incapacitating Bite (Mana Cost – N/A/ Cooldown – N/A)
Description: Gives the Broodmother venom which will greatly reduce the target's ability to function, and deals extra damage (2-8 depending based on level). Adds a 10-25% chance to miss, while slowing movement speed of it’s target by 10-40% depending on the skill level.
This skill is the bread and butter of the Broodmother. It’s awesome to poke the enemy with this skill, ensuring that they’re always at low HP. It restricts them from running away too, and when stacked with Insatiable Hunger, it guarantees a kill provided your enemy doesn’t have an escape skill.
Insatiable Hunger (Mana Cost – 100/ Cooldown – 60 Sec.)
Description: The Broodmother throws herself into a violent thirst for vital fluids. This lust greatly increases her attack damage and gives her a vampiric attack. The lifesteal increases from 40-60% while the damage bonus increases from 60 to 90 depending on the skill level.
While Insatiable Hunger is active, the Broodmother becomes an incredibly powerful killing machine that regenerates health with each blow. Use this well and you shall stack up kills with ease.

Early Game:
Items you should buy:

Broodmother is a dominant force in her lane. Place webs strategically whenever the cooldown is done to ensure that you can stay hidden, and get out for last hits on creeps. Get yourself a pair of Boots as soon as the game starts, because you don’t really need a ring of regeneration while in your web. Getting last hits on creeps shouldn’t be too hard, but if you think you’re damage is too low to do so, get yourself a Wraith Band as soon as you can. Buying a chicken early on is a good idea since Broodmother doesn’t really need to go back to the fountain often. Use the chicken to buy a Glove of Haste fast, and complete a Hand of Midas to help you farm better for the items you’ll buy in the next stage.
Mid Game:
Items you should buy:
Farm like mad at this stage of the game and collect for an Eaglehorn. Once that is done, it’s time to farm for your first level 4 item – a Butterfly. With a Butterfly and the miss effect from your incapacitating bite, your enemy’s blows will miss you quite often. After you get a Butterfly, your hero’s additional damage and lifesteal will start owning your enemies. Farm well now and keep spawning Spiderlings to help you farm and push lanes.
Late Game:
Items you should buy:

It’s time to complete your Boots of Travel now, so that you can participate in all team based activities, and gain maximum advantage from your pushing skills. Get yourself a Heart of Tarresque quickly, so that you can’t be bullied by late game nukers. If you want extra damage, get yourself either Radiance, or a Buriza.
