Role:
The Engineer Class in BF2142 is an expert at tearing things apart or repairing them. With a little help, the Engineer can take down almost any enemy vehicle, be it a Walker, a Tank, or an APC. He has two kinds of mines – EMP and Explosive, both of which can really help slowing down your enemy’s frontline armored division, giving your team enough time to pick off the enemies one by one. Additionally, they can even aid the vehicles in your team by repairing them. If a vehicle has Engineers equipped with the DysTek Repair v2.0 inside it, the vehicle will regenerated armor passively. This makes the Engineer class a prime candidate to pilot vehicles and man the guns in the aircrafts, as they give the vehicles a prolonged life. Overall, while playing as the Engineer class, your objective is to repair all friendly vehicles and blow up anything that belongs to your enemy, to the best of your ability.
