APM – Anti-Personal Mine
If you plan on playing the Recon Class, the Anti Personal Mine should be your first unlock. Using this nifty device, you can either help defend areas, or improve your score by stacking up kills. To use the mine effectively, you need to understand how its directional sensor works, so that you can place them correctly. Make sure that the convex side of the mine faces the direction you expect your enemies to approach from. If your enemy sees these mines however, they can easily escape the trap by crouching or going prone. In order to ensure that this does not happen, make sure that you always place them in well concealed spots. The best locations to place these are near turns, under bushes/debris or on the top of a flight of stairs, as these are places most people tend to rush without looking. Learn to use them right and you can be a real pain in your enemy’s backside.
