Visual Distortion – Shadows / Reflection and In-game Object
Apart from the more serious problems mentioned above, there are issues which don’t completely restrict you from playing a game, but rather make playing the game an undesirable experience. Such issues include skewed lighting effects that cause in-game reflections to go way off, or have way too many shadows cast on objects in the game, making them too dark to see or in other cases, invisible. In a few cases you’ll have player/object models get majorly distorted or completely disappear.
Solution:
If the shadows/reflections in the game are not quite like they should be, or you come across areas that are completely unlit, you can be certain that the solution lies in the Lighting settings of the game. In such cases try disabling Dynamic Lighting or High Dynamic Range (HDR) effects in your in-game settings. Try reducing shadow details too.
If this doesn’t fix the issue, try updating your graphic card drivers and get the latest patch for the game in question.
