X-Perl
X-Perl is a complete replacement mod for Blizzard’s default unit frames, that aren’t too pretty to look at. Perl Unit frames used to be really popular before Burning Crusade released; X-Perl is basically a majorly overhauled version that adds some awesome Heal over Time and Damage over Time (HoT and DoT) frames, useful debuff highlights that let you know when you should recast them (along with a nifty debuff timer), useful raid frames that make a raid easy to track and manage, and my favorite 3D portraits (yes, I’m shallow like that).
The most awesome part is the amount of customization the mod allows. You can change everything – from the placement of the bars to colors, opacity, scaling; the way the debuffs stack up, the size, scale of them too, and a lot more. The only problem is that once you use it, you can never live without it.
