Let's face it. Not everyone can afford phones like the N95, though we'd all like to be able to. But that's in a category that's a little too steep for the Average Joe to afford, even with the concept of EMIs. So what do we have out there that's a low budget mobile that can cover most of your basic needs and keep you connected? Let's see shall we?
Nokia 6080 (Rs. 4,750)
The 6080 is a perfect phone for the regular field guy. Someone who's job depends on him moving around the city a lot. This phone is loaded with everything from media to business. It uses an S40 interface that's clear enough for messaging, checking email and with a 65K color display with 128x160 resolution using the VGA camera for stills or video may not be great but it is good. Though the phone is equipped with IR it doesn't have Bluetooth (Aww... that's not good). It even has an FM radio that comes with stereo headphones and you can even use mp3 files as ring-tones. The 6080 also uses EDGE and HSCSD. So like I said it's got almost everything, which also includes Push-To-Talk.
