Intel is bringing its wildcat to challenge the A18 Pro running on the new MacBook Neo from Apple. The Windows segment has faced a harsh reality this year after the Neo version gets rave reviews and good response from the buyers. Many felt that Intel and other PC brands will have to pull up their socks to get people to invest in their so-called budget laptops and Intel might finally have the answer to the Neo with its own budget processor in the PC avatar.
The new Wildcat Lake processor has been spotted in benchmark tests and widely tipped to be Intel’s affordable option for brands in the PC market.

The Intel processor is still under wraps but the benchmark listing gives a clear idea about what the hardware could offer. The supposed version is reportedly codenamed Wildcat Lake series that is tipped to have a six-core CPU with two of them for performance and four of the units to deliver efficiency. The interesting part about the listing is that the Intel CPU scores higher in the Passmark single and multi-thread tests.
