Amazon has announced that its annual Prime Day sale will return to India in July 2026. The company confirmed that the upcoming edition will bring offers across multiple categories, including electronics, kitchen products, fashion, beauty, groceries, and everyday essentials. This will mark the tenth edition of Prime Day in India.

While Amazon has not revealed the exact dates for India, it confirmed that Prime Day will be held in July 2026 for Indian customers. Globally, the sale will take place earlier, in June, across markets such as the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates, among others. Countries including India, Japan, Brazil, and Australia will host the event later in July.

Prime Day is expected to feature price cuts, new product launches, and bundled offers across categories. Amazon said Prime members will be able to access deals on trending products and new launches, along with savings on everyday essentials.
Categories likely to be included are smartphones, laptops, home appliances, fashion, beauty products, and groceries. The platform is also expected to introduce limited-time deals and exclusive launches during the sale period.
Prime membership benefits in India
Amazon highlighted that Prime members in India continue to receive a range of benefits tied to shopping and entertainment. These include access to faster delivery options such as same-day and next-day delivery on lakhs of products, as well as 4-hour delivery on select items.
In select cities, Amazon also offers deliveries within minutes through its quick commerce service. Members can access additional offers such as free delivery on low-value orders and cashback incentives on higher spends.
Prime members using the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card also receive 5 percent cashback on purchases made on Amazon.
Prime value and delivery performance
Amazon stated that in 2025, more than 55 crore products were delivered the same or next day for Prime members in India, marking a 40 percent increase compared to the previous year. The company added that members saved more than twice the cost of their annual subscription through deals and benefits during the year.
Membership plans in India
Amazon currently offers multiple Prime membership tiers in India. The standard annual plan is priced at Rs 1,499 and includes shopping and entertainment benefits. Prime Lite is available at Rs 799 with limited streaming access, while the Prime Shopping Edition at Rs 399 focuses only on delivery and shopping benefits.
