boAt has stepped into kids’ tech with a new Kid Series lineup, headlined by the Sailor Nav smartwatch. Alongside it, the brand has also launched Sailor Play, a pair of kid-focused wireless headphones, marking boAt’s push beyond personal audio into products built specifically for children and their parents.

Priced at ₹6,499, the Sailor Nav is built around keeping parents aware of where their child is and able to reach them quickly. It uses real-time Google Maps tracking, letting parents check a child’s live location at school, in a park, or on the way home. A geo-fencing feature, backed by 5-point satellite positioning, lets parents mark out safe zones around places their child visits regularly and get an alert the moment the child enters or leaves one of those zones.
Communication runs through a built-in 4G SIM, supporting two-way video and voice calls directly from the watch, viewed on a 1.4-inch HD display. The watch also includes Audio Chat, letting kids send quick voice messages to other Sailor Nav users, and a dedicated SOS button for reaching help quickly if needed. boAt says the build is designed to hold up to everyday use, from the playground to the school run.

The second product in the lineup is Sailor Play, wireless headphones priced at ₹1,499. The defining feature here is a hard 85dB volume limit, aimed at keeping listening levels within a safer range for children while still delivering usable sound quality through 40mm drivers tuned specifically for younger listeners.
On comfort, the headphones use soft earcups and an adjustable headband meant to fit as a child grows, and boAt says the build is durable enough for daily use at home or school.
