Apple iPad, Mac and HomePod prices in India hiked amid Tim Cook's warning

The dreaded day has come. Apple has served the warning for the inevitable price hike and now we are seeing its full impact in the market. The company has increased the MacBook, iMac, iPad and even Apple TV 4K prices in India and other regions this week.
Analysts have been estimating Apple to pass on the impact of the memory shortage that has triggered an industry-wide demand for AI servers, and the Cupertino-based giant is now going to charge a premium, even by its standards.

The MacBook Air and Pro variant prices have gone up by over a lakh, similarly for the iPad, iPad Air and Pro versions.

- iPad - From Rs 34,990 to Rs 49,990 (Rs 15,000 hike)
- iPad mini - From Rs 49,900 to Rs 69,900 (Rs 20,000 hike)

The base iPad model now costing around Rs 50,000 is a steep increase, while the Air now costing you around Rs 90,000 for the Wi-Fi model makes it a tough sell for many.

The newly launched MacBook Neo is also going to cost you dearer by Rs 10,000 that is just for the 256GB variant. The 512GB Neo price is now Rs 90,000 in the Indian market. You can still pick up the M3 or M4 variants of the MacBook Air from different platforms but we expect the stocks to run out soon.
Staying in the Mac-sphere, the Mac Mini M4 has seen a steep hike from Rs 59,900 to almost Rs 95,000 for buyers in India.
The HomePod speaker is now priced at Rs 44,900 while the 64GB Apple TV 4K Wi-Fi comes for Rs 44,900 after getting a Rs 12,000 price hike in the country.
