Where is the Googlebook?
Chromebook launching in mid-2026 feels quite intriguing especially since Google is confirmed to bring new Googlebooks later this year. The company teased its new Googlebook recently which more or less could be the successor to the Chromebook and gets all the Gemini AI goodness with better Android compatibility.
Google is going to follow Microsoft’s model to have this new platform running on devices (or Googlebooks) made by brands like Dell, HP, Asus and Lenovo among others. Google claims the new device will get a premium and featherweight design, but heavyweight on power.
Most people thought Chromebooks will go out of fashion (and market) but it seems to have one last spell in the market before Google ends the lineup.
