Motorola Edge 70 Pro launched in India with 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 camera and 6500mAh battery

Motorola has launched the Edge 70 Pro in India, expanding its premium smartphone portfolio. The device focuses on camera performance, display, battery capacity, and on-device AI features. It comes with a triple 50MP camera system, a quad-curved AMOLED display, and a large silicon-carbon battery. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor and runs on Android 16-based Hello UI.

Edge 70 Pro India price and variants

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro is available in two storage configurations. The base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 38,999, while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs Rs 41,999.

With offers, the effective prices are Rs 36,999 and Rs 39,999 respectively. Buyers can avail of either an instant bank discount of up to Rs 2,000 or an exchange bonus of up to Rs 2,000. The smartphone will go on sale starting April 29, 2026, via Flipkart, Motorola’s official website, and retail stores.

Edge 70 features

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro features a triple 50MP camera setup led by the Sony LYTIA 710 sensor with OIS. It includes a 50MP ultra-wide + macro camera and a 50MP front camera with autofocus. The device supports 4K 60fps video recording across all cameras and includes features such as AI Photo Enhancement, Horizon Lock, and Frame Match.

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. The smartphone includes a vapor chamber cooling system for thermal management.

The device sports a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and peak brightness of up to 5200 nits. It also features dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

The Edge 70 Pro packs a 6500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 90W fast charging. It offers IP68 and IP69 ratings along with MIL-STD 810H certification for durability.
