Google chief Pichai has recently said Google is excited to share more about Search which is going to be linked with Gemini AI in many ways. You can also expect the Gemini 4.0 version unveiled with some of the major advancements in the AI model and how it might have Mythos-like abilities which will have people excited and worried in equal measure.

Android 17 is also going to be a big part of the event, although Pichai is likely to reserve his pitch for AI to appease the developers and shareholders. There has been a lot of talk around the new desktop mode for Pixel devices which will be a useful addition to the platform and hopefully Google has more to share for the developers and show them the way forward.

Android is also going to be running through smart glasses and Google should have more to share about the products that will be rolling out to the market and compete with Meta’s Ray Ban glasses in the near future.

The company teased its new Googlebook which could be the successor to the Chromebook and gets all the Gemini AI goodness with better Android compatibility. Google seems to be entering at a time when people might be looking for options beyond the conventional platforms. Googlebook is likely to be Google’s new-gen focus and expected to shift away from making more ChromeOS-powered devices.
